PURPOSE:To prevent the application of excessive local pressures to the screw portion of a valve bar by a method in which the second sleeve receiving a drive force is connected with the first sleeve to transmit drive force to the valve bar by a flexible shaft coupler and the first sleeve is supported by an automatic centering bearing. CONSTITUTION:When turning a drive gear shaft 10, the rotation is transmitted through a bevel gear 14, the second sleeve 7, and a flexible shaft coupler 6 to the first sleeve and a stem bush 2 fitted to the inside of the first sleeve. A valve bar 1 is vertically moved by the rotation of the system bush 2 to open or close a water gate door attached to the lower end of the valve bar 1. In this case, even when the axes of the valve bar 1 and the system bush 2 become out of order, an automatic centering gear 4 operates to make the valve bar 1 uniformly contact with the screw portion of the stem bush 2. Since the stem bush 2 is independent of the second sleeve, grease can be supplied from an oil supply port 9 to the screw portion of the stem bush 2. |
