A sanitary napkin (1) has a compressed groove (6) and an indication section (7), in the skin-facing surface thereof, that are formed by pressing a surface sheet (2) and an absorbent body (4) towards a rear sheet (3) side. The compressed groove (6) has a horizontal compressed groove (6c) extending in the Y direction, in a rear area (C). The size of the indication section (7) is such that the entire indication section can be ascertained when felt by a fingertip. The length of the indication section (7) in the width direction is shorter than the horizontal compressed groove (6c). The indication section (7) is arranged upon a center line (CL) and has a symmetrical shape relative to the center line (CL). The indication section (7) is arranged at a position separated towards the front from the rear end of the sanitary napkin (1) and at least part of the indication section (7) is positioned further to the rear than the horizontal compressed groove (6c) of the compressed groove (6). |
