PURPOSE:To make it possible to manufacture even a ultra-thin saw blade having a large diameter by holding a thin disc-shaped saw blade with two sheets of flanges comprising a disc having a diameter smaller than that of said saw blade, and uniting them in a body. CONSTITUTION:A disc-shaped saw blade 2 is held from both sides, in a concentric circle form with two sheets of disc-shaped flanges having a diameter smaller than that of said saw blade 2, and the saw blade 2 and the flanges 3 are fixed in a body with a plural number of screws 4. Through the center of said saw blade, a shaft hole 5 fitted to the driving shaft of a disc sawing machine is bored. For the saw blade 2, high speed steel such as SSK steel is used in the same way as a usual saw blade for a disc sawing machine, and to the tip 6 of the blade, a sintered hard alloy made tip can be bonded with brazing as necessary. This blade 2 wholly has a uniform thickness, the levelling is easily achieved. Thus it is possible to manufacture even a ultra-thin saw blade having a large diameter. |
