The present invention relates to the field of preparation of natural plant extracts, and particularly relates to a method of extracting Azadirachtin from neem seeds. The method comprises: first adding peeled neem seeds and sodium rosinate to deionized water, and extracting Azadirachtin by cutting, stirring and crushing the peeled neem seeds via a high-speed blade under heating; upon completion of extraction, adding cyclohexane and stirring well, then resting to allow separation of layers, adding a liquid hydrocarbon compound to the obtained aqueous phase, and applying ultrasonic wave during a stirring and mixing process, filtering to obtain a precipitate at the bottom of the container and drying, so as to obtain Azadirachtin extracts. The present invention provides an Azadirachtin extraction process at a higher temperature and shortens the extraction time, while Azadirachtin is obtained with ideal purity and a high extraction rate. |
