PURPOSE:To ensure a stable and accurate detection of signals, by giving the time differentiation to a reproduced signal supplied from a digital magnetic recorder and discriminating signals from the amplitude between the positive and negative peaks of said time differentiation. CONSTITUTION:A reproduced signal is differentiated by a differentiating circuit 10. The positive and negative peak voltages of the differentiated signal S10 are held at peak holding circuits 11 and 11' respectively. Then the held peak values are compared at comparators 13 and 13', and the outputs of comparison are supplied to AND gates 17 and 17' respectively. On the other hand, detecting signals are applied to gates 17 and 17' to detect the positive and negative peaks of the reproduced signals supplied from zero level cross detecting circuits 15 and 15'. Thus detecting signals are delivered from the gates 17 and 17' to detect effective positive and negative peak points of the reproduced signal. This detecting signal is applied to an FF18 to obtain a detecting signal S18. In such a way, the signals can be detected in a stable and accurate way. |
