PURPOSE:To reduce pressure loss of air as a result of its impinging against a bent part of bent air duct, by providing an auxiliary cold air outlet at a side of the bent air duct, thereby lowering an airflow resistance and achieving improvements in an airflow rate and sound emission control. CONSTITUTION:A room air drawn througha grill type air inlet 1 is cooled down by an evaporator 2, and accelerated its velocity by a Silocco fan 3 driven by a fan motor 6. A part of air with increased velocity is discharged in a room through the auxiliary cold air outlet 11 arranged at the bent air duct 4, while remaining part thereof is discharged through the air outlet 5 via the bent air duct 4. In this instance, a part of air discharged from the Silocco fan is smoothly diffused in the room without impinging against the bent part of bent air duct. |
