PURPOSE:To obtain a complete video signal regardless of the recording or reproducing omission, by recording twice or more the video signals of the same contents to compensate the reproduced video signal of one side in case the reproduced video signal of the other side has the lack of information. CONSTITUTION:A static picture video signal to which a discriminating signal for error detection is inserted for each unit section is recorded twice or more on a magnetic disk 12. In a reproduction mode, the reproduced video signal of one side is stored in a memory 34, and at the same time an error detecting circuit 35 detects the information lacking part of the reproduced video signal stored in the memory 34 by means of a discriminating signal for error detection. Then the detected information lacking part is compensated with a reproduced video signal different from the video signal stored in the memory 34 in the form of the video information. |
