摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve power transmission efficiency by enabling equalization of a power load, by a method wherein suitable capacity of a heating unit is calculated based on a preset hot water quantity to be consumed in the following day, a temperature of supply water and a condition of residual hot water in a hot water reservoir, and the whole of an electrification time for a midnight electric power is employed so as to heat up at fixed electric power. CONSTITUTION:When a hot water quantity V liter (hot water temperature: T1 deg.C) for the following day's use, which is stored in a hot water reservoir is applied to a setting device 4 of a hot water quantity, and a detecting value of a supply water temperature sensor 5 immediately after an inrush into an electrification time for midnight electric power is t deg.C, operation of an equation (T1-t)X V is done and a calorific value K1[K1=(T1-t)XV]which is to be stored within the hot water reservoir by a completion time of the electrification time for the midnight electric power is calculated by an arithmetic unit A 6. Operation of an equation (K1-K2)divided by 860 is done by an arithmetic unit B 8 based on the K1 and K2 which is detected by a calorific value detecting device 7 for residual hot water, and necessary heating unit capacity (kW) is calculated by a net calorific value (1kWH=860kcal) to be applied, which is obtained by deducting the calorific value K2 corresponding to the residual hot water from the calorific value K1 which is to be stored within the hot water reservoir. Then, when the necessary heating unit capacity (kw) is calculated by the arithmetic unit B 8, an electrification quantity to the heating unit is controlled by an electric power controller 11.</p>
