The present invention allows transmission to and storing of a medical image on a mobile device from a CD or USB that is issued to a patient in advance, or transmission to and storing on a mobile device a medical image that is still stored on a CD or USB and issued; or receiving a medical image stored in a recording medium of another system via a network, transmitting the medical image from the mobile device to a remote reader of a remote medical treatment institute, and transmitting a remote reading result from the remote reader to the mobile device, and a medical image can thereby be carried around on a mobile device and immediately transmitted to a reader when remote reading is necessary. The method for transmitting a medical image stored on a recording medium to a mobile device comprises the steps of: loading a record media to an input port; inputting a medical image from the recording medium; temporarily storing the input medical image; and transmitting the stored medical image to the mobile device. In addition, a method for transmitting a medical image stored on a recording medium to a remote reader of a remote medical treatment institute using a mobile device, and for transmitting a remote reading result from the remote reader to the mobile device comprises the steps of: storing a medical image on a mobile device from a recording medium; transmitting the stored medical image to a remote reader from the mobile device via a relaying device; and transmitting a remote reading result to the mobile device from the remote reader via the relaying device. |
