PURPOSE:To obtain smooth discharge of stuff to be conveyed with no remainders in a trough by installing a raking plate which meets at right angles with the direction of rotation of a rotary shaft, at the outlet part of the rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION:In a screw conveyer, in which a rotary shaft 20 around which screw-shaped vane 19 is wound is placed in a trough 21, and stuff 13' to be conveyed which is comulated on the bottom of the trough 21, is pushed forward by rotation of the vane 19 and then discharged from an outlet port 9 made in a trough side wall which meets at right angles with the conveying direction of the stuff 13', a raking plate 22 which meets at right angles with the direction of rotation of the shaft 20 is installed at the outlet part of the rotary shaft 20. In other words, forcibly raking the stuff 13' which has been conveyed by a screw 8 in the axial direction, toward the outlet port 9 of the trough side wall can prevent the stuff 13' from being packed. Accordingly, the stuff 13' such as nuts which are pushed toward an abutting part 7a of a screw conveyer room 7, can be discharged smoothly without being packed as remainders. |
