PURPOSE:To regenerate the picture information fed through a keyboard by means of an ordinary facsimile receiver, by transmitting the contents of an original which is displayed electrically with operation of the keyboard to the receiving side like the ordinary facsimile transmission. CONSTITUTION:The data signals 208 which are read out successively and with each line are supplied to both a printer part 201 and a data compressing part 109 of an original transmitting part. The part 201 produces a copy of the character information to be transmitted. It is properly possible to produce a copy of the original by feeding a picture signal 108 which is delivered from an A/D converting part 107. The part 109 codes a data signal 208, and this code is transferred to a circuit for connection to be transmitted to a facsimile receiving device in the form of a picture signal 113. As a result, the character information produced at a character information transmitting part 2 is turned visible at the receiving side. |
