A guiding device in a telescoping tube consisting of a plurality of tube parts 10', 10" comprises, for each and any of the two parts 18''' of a lifting line, a cross member 42 with a bushing 43 fastened inside the lower part of each respective tube part, for the guiding of the cross member and thus the tube part on the line parts. Further, the tube parts have on the outside of their lower end a guiding ring 44, and on the inside of their upper end a guiding ring 45, said guiding rings 44, 45 having chamfered upper and lower sides.
