PURPOSE:To perform both cold contact compensation and room temperature compensation by correcting the emissivity of only a signal corresponding to radiant energy sent from a thermopile without cold constant compensation and adding a signal corresponding to radiant energy from a temperature sensor to the corrected signal. CONSTITUTION:A main mirror 2 is fitted facing the photometric incidence opening 1a of a radiation thermometer. A mirror body 3 is fitted in front of the main mirror 2 and a photoelectric converting element 6 made of a thermopile is provided behind the main mirror 2. In the element 6, a thermopile 206 and a temperature sensor for detecting the ambient temperature of the thermopile 206 are provided. Through a preamplifier 202, the thermopile 206 generates and output voltage corresponding to radiant energy L(T) which is not processed by cold contact compensation and an emissivity correcting circuit 203 outputs a signal L(T)/epsilon. The sensor 201 outputs a voltage corresponding to radiant energy L(Ta) from a room temperature reflecting source through a preamplifier 205. The outputs of the circuits 203 and amplifier 205 are summed up by an adding circuit 204 to obtain an output after both cold contact compensation and room temperature compensation. |
