PURPOSE:To provide the titled material which makes it possible to control temperatures of heat storage and heat dissipation by changing the composition of the system, is low cost, shows consistent heat absorption performance and has a large storage capacity, prepared by mixing urea with acetic acid. CONSTITUTION:Urea is added to acetic acid for mixing. The urea should be contained pref. in 20wt% or lower (excluding 0%) based on the total weight of acetic acid and urea. Other melting point depressants, supercooling inhibitor, thickener to prevent sedimentation and aggregation of the supercooling inhibitor and additives other than the above may be added as necessitated. The thermal energy storage material is applicable to air conditioning heat regenerator for room cooling and any other devices which utilizes stored heat. |
