1. A crush resistant electrical cable method comprising the steps of:
providing at least one bundle including an electrical insulator between a central conductor and an outer conductor; concentrically aligning the central conductor, insulator, and outer conductor as a cylinder with a circular cross section; configuring the bundle for conducting radio frequency signals in cable television and satellite television systems; encapsulating the at least one bundle with a polymeric jacket that is flexible, non-conducting, and abrasion resistant; wherein with respect to a cross-section of the jacket a height of the jacket is smaller than a width of the jacket; and, wherein a width of the at least one bundle is less than half of the width of the jacket and the outer conductor comprises a conductive ground sheath including at least one braiding layer. |
