PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive outdoor antenna element, by constituting the antenna element with a cylindrical holder comprising a reinforced plastic and a cylindrical element formed with a very thin metallic member. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrical element 6 is formed cylindrically by using a very thin metallic material such as aluminum foil and brass foil. The thickness is taken as 0.005mm.-0.05mm.. The cylindrical holder 7 is made of the reinforced plastic, e.g. epoxy resin with glass fiber and has >=about 0.5mm. thickness so as to keep the cylindricl shape. The outer diameter is formed as about 8-9mm., and the inner cylinder is made of a material the same as that of the cylindrical holder 7. The outer circumference of said cylindrical element 6, the inner circumference of the cylindrical holder 7, and the inner circumference of the cylindrical element 6, and the outer circumference of the inner cylinder are put together closely, that is, the three elements are incorporated altogether. The antenna element thus constituted is inexpensive in the material cost and manufactured inexpensively. |
