A technology is provided, which reduces a misreport of a watching system due to a non-target person's image getting contained in a captured image. An information processing apparatus includes an image acquiring unit to acquire a captured image of an imaging apparatus for watching a watching target person, a behavior detection unit to detect a behavior of the watching target person, a non-target person detection unit to detect an existence of a non-target person other than the watching target person, and a report unit to execute reporting to notify that the behavior of the watching target person is detected upon detecting the behavior of the watching target person while not detecting an existence of the non-target person, and to quit reporting to notify that the behavior of the watching target person is detected while detecting the existence of the non-target person.

an image acquiring unit configured to acquire a captured image captured by an imaging apparatus installed for watching a watching target person; a behavior detection unit configured to detect a behavior of the watching target person by analyzing the acquired captured image; a non-target person detection unit configured to detect an existence of a non-target person other than the watching target person in a range where the behaviors of the watching target person can be watched; and a report unit configured to execute reporting to notify that the behavior of the watching target person is detected upon detecting the behavior of the watching target person while not detecting an existence of the non-target person, and to quit reporting to notify that the behavior of the watching target person is detected while detecting the existence of the non-target person.
