PURPOSE:To enable to obtain a low heating power in a prompt and reliable manner, by attaching a temperature sensor to a combustion board, and controlling an electromagnetic pump connected at a part of a fuel supply pipe, a motor for turning a vaporizing sleeve, etc. in response to the output signal of said temperature sensor. CONSTITUTION:A liquid fuel burning means 1 is disposed by the side of a main body 10, and a combustion board 2 is disposed on the inside of a case 11. Further, a vaporizing sleeve 3 is disposed on the inside of the combustion board 2 such that the sleeve 3 is turned by a motor 5. In the drawing, a numeral 6 represents an electromagnetic pump, and the top of a fuel supply pipe 6a is opened in the vaporizing sleeve 3. A numeral 7 represents a temperature sensor which is attached to the combustion board 2. The speed of rotation of the motor 5 and the capacity of the pump 6 are controlled by furnishing the output signal of the sensor 7 to a controller 8. In starting operation of the liquid fuel burning means 1 through detection of the temperature of hot water, it is at first operated at a high heating power. However, when the temperature of the combustion board 2 detected by the sensor 7 is raised to a prescribed level, the capacity of the means 1 is controlled automatically in response to the temperature of hot water (that is, the means 1 is operated at a low heating power when the temperature of water is high while it is operated at a high heating power when the temperature of water is low). |
