PURPOSE:To obtain a copy having a porper size, by obtaining a sampling number and a frequency of overlapping sample output from the number of scanning lines of a video signal, the size of a copy form, etc. in case of the hard copy of the video output of a refresh display or the like. CONSTITUTION:The number of scanning lines is 1680 dots when the resolution of a hard copy device is set to 8bits/mm. and a form of A4 size is used, and a magnification (m) in the direction of paper feed satisfies relation 1<=m<=1,680/N when the number of scanning lines in one frame of the display is denoted as N, an a smapling number (x) is (4/3)Nm when the ratio of the vertical length to the horizontal length of the screen of the display is 4/3. When a central processing device 9 receives a print command signal PC, the number N of a horizontal syncrhonizing signal is counted by a scanning line number counter 10, and the magnification (m) in the direction of paper feed, the sampling number (x), a space part, etc. are calculated on a basis of preliminarily inputted paper size, resolution, etc., and prescribed data is sent to the copy device, and the scanning line number N and the sampling number are set to a counter 12 and a PLL circuit 20 respectively, thus obtaining the hard copy having a desired size. |
