PURPOSE:To ensure the effective calculation and display of telephone charge, by calculating the number of unit call seconds between two stations in order to secure the automatic calculation for the cumulative calling charge during a busy state, the calling charge to the estimated calling time, the calling time to the estimated calling charge, etc. CONSTITUTION:The toll numbers of two station which talk with each other by an input given through numeric keys are compared with the toll number that is written to the head of the information on each base telephone station. If the toll number of the information block of the base telephone station is smaller than those two toll numbers, the process proceeds to the next block to continue the retrieval. While the retrieval is over if the number of the base telephone station is larger than those of two toll numbers. As a result, the blocks to which the two stations belong are detected, and the information on these two blocks are written to a storage device 5 and also fed to a CPU 3 to calculate the calling distance. Then the number of unit call seconds between the two stations is calculated from a storage device 4 and written to the device 5. Then the calling charge needed for the estimated calling time, the calling time ensured with the estimated calling charge or the charge under a busy state can be displayed every moment. |
