PURPOSE:To realize the core of a low density and high specific elastic factor and to obtain a diaphragm with light weight and high performance, by arranging a hair-pin or almost channel-shaped core unit radially to form the core and joining a beryllium or boron skin member on the surface. CONSTITUTION:In Figure, 21 is the core formed by arranging plural core units 22 in which beryllium ribbon thin plates are formed in hair-pin phase radially and 23 is the skin member made of single film of the boron with both surfaces of the core 21. The skin member 23 is formed by setting, a titanium base 11 covered with a mask member 12 in a DC ion plating device 13 with the vacuum- deposition method. In the device 13, boron is used as the evaporation source to produce a boron layer 14. Then, the titanium base 12 is solved and removed chemically to form the skin member made of the single film of boron. The core member 21 is formed by heating a beryllium thin piece 15 partially to form a core unit 16 and to arrange 36 sets of the core units 16 radially. A pure boron member 23 coated with an adhesives on both sides of the core member 21 is heat-pressed to obtain a flat diaphragm. |
