PURPOSE:To reduce the load factor of a data transmission line and the CPU load factor of a master station computer by sending out only signal which is logically effective to the master station computer selectively. CONSTITUTION:A state 41a showing that a tracking signal for steel material tracking inputted from a detector No.1 through a process input device 23 is on is sent out from a tracking signal source 3 and stored in a signal state storage device 211 together with its time 42a. This on signal allows an arithmetic processor 213 to turn on the on gate information 45b on a forecasted input pattern storage device 212 corresponding to a signal expected to be inputted next for the forecasted motion of a steel material. At the same time, off gate information 46a for permitting the acceptance of the off signal is set after timer time 43a registered in a table previously in order to prevent chattering due to the turning- on operation of the detector. |
