PURPOSE:To produce an accurate magnetic head, by joining a pair of core half bodies containing coupling materials of a high fusing point at recess parts and a gap material laminated to the counter surfaces respectively and filling a coupling material of a low fusing point to a gap produced to the coupling material part and then heating the filled coupling material. CONSTITUTION:The 1st coupling members 5 such as silver wax BAg5-BAg8 having high fusing points are fused to the recess parts of half bodies 4 of ''Sendust'' alloy. At the same time, SiO2 or nonmagnetic metallic material 8 is sputtered or vapor-deposited to the counter surfaces. The material 5 produces a gap 9 when half bodies 4 are set opposite to each other. This pair of bodies 4 are set opposite to each other and fastened from directions A and B by means of a tool. Then the 2nd coupling material 10 such as BAg1 having a fusing point lower than the material 5 is filled into the gap 9. These materials are heated up to a temperature between materials 5 and 10. Thus both materials are joined together and then cooled. In such a way, an accurate magnetic head is obtained. |
