PURPOSE:To sample radioactive gas rapidly and easily, by utilizing a spring and compressed air pressure to move a vial holder. CONSTITUTION:A holder guide tube 3 is fixed together with lead 6 for shielding in a sleeve 4 provided in a shielding wall 5. The holder 9 of a vial 1 is placed in the tube 3, and the holder 9 is set to the end of the tube 3 by the force of a spring 10. A pipe 13 is provided with an air feed valve 11, and an air release valve 12. When the valve 11 is opened, compressed air flows into a space between a plug 14 and the holder 9 to move it. A radioactive gas can be sampled rapidly and easily by using such a mechanism. |
