The present invention relates to a recliner allowing a rotation angle between a seat cushion and a seat back of a seat for a vehicle to be adjusted. At least one pair of guide protrusions adjacent to each other among a plurality of guide protrusions on a holder side have a first guide surface and a second guide surface supporting one lock gear positioned between the protrusions to slide. A first groove part and a second groove part, which have a semi-circular shape and are recessed, are formed on the first guide surface and the second guide surface. A first roller and a second roller are inserted into the first groove part and the second groove part to protrude from the first guide surface and the second guide surface while having a semi-circular shape. A first extended groove and a second extended groove, which receive the protruding first roller and the protruding second roller, are formed on the first slide surface and the second slide surface in surface contact with the first guide surface and the second guide surface on both side surfaces of the lock gear. The first extended groove and the second extended groove have a first locking circular arc part and a second circular arc part, which are in contact with and support the protruding first roller and the protruding second roller when the lock gear is located at a locking position. Accordingly, when rotational impact of a sector gear is generated, both rollers of the lock gear together with a cam support the lock gear induce an exterior toothed surface of the lock gear to entirely support an interior toothed surface of the sector gear such that rotational impact is distributed to all exterior tooth surfaces, thereby maximizing a limit in impact absorption. |
