PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work machine traveling power source which: enables a work machine to travel even in a situation where a power source device mounted on an upper revolving body is not operational; has a compact size; is applicable to a small-sized work machine; and can be easily attached to and removed from the work machine.SOLUTION: A traveling hydraulic unit 26 is detachably fixed to a truck frame. The traveling hydraulic unit 26 comprises: a traveling engine 28; a traveling hydraulic pump 29; a directional control valve 30 which controls a supply of hydraulic oil from the traveling hydraulic pump 29 to right and left traveling hydraulic motors 16; traveling hydraulic piping 40; and a hydraulic tank 31. The traveling hydraulic unit 26 also has a connection switching device 41, which shuts off regular use hydraulic piping 39 and detachably connects the traveling hydraulic piping 40 to the traveling hydraulic motors 16, on the regular use hydraulic piping 39 installed on the truck frame in order to supply and drain hydraulic oil to and from the traveling hydraulic motors 16 through a regular use hydraulic pump 21. |
