PURPOSE:To improve efficiency of space by annularly arranging housing shelves formed in multistage structure in the longitudinal direction, among vertically arranged pallet housing shelves, and providing its central part with a pallet moving means which freely makes a vertical movement and a swivel movement round a vertical shaft. CONSTITUTION:A pallet magazine 10, with a cylinder-like external shape, is provided with plural stage pallet housing shelves 12 in the longitudinal direction and, onthese stages, the plural number of pallet housing shelves are arranged in the peripheral direction. A swivel lifter 20, provided at its bottom with a base 24 making a swivel movement round a vertical shaft along a circular track 22 and a strut 26 erected on the base 24, is cnnected to a driving source 34. The base 24 and the strut 26 are moved to optional swiveling positions and stopped by driving of the driving source 34. A fluid pressure cylinder 40 is operated to put the base 24 in vertical movement along the side of the strut 26, and the base 24 holds a pallet 16 to house it on a predetermined housing shelf 12. |
