METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FLUORESCENT LAMP DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide with ease a fluorescent lamp device having an excellent feature without lowering the work efficiency, by filling silicone in a transparent globe and heating the silicone to turn it gelled, and thereafter by embedding a portion of a non-linear fluorescent lamp in the silicone in the globe. CONSTITUTION:A transparent globe 8 is held by a metal or plastic holder with its opening turned upward. Liquid silicone 9 is filled in the top portion of the globe 8 and heated from outside to get gelled. Then a non-linear fluorescent lamp 4 held by a holder 5 is inserted in the globe 8 and the tip portion 11 of the lamp is embedded in the silicone 9 so that the tip portion 11 closely adhere to the silicone 9. By this arrangement, a fluorescent lamp device having an excellent feature is easily provided without lowering the work efficiency.
