PURPOSE:To copy two left and right bound pages to two sheets respectively by providing an optical scanning system with the 2nd start position, and sectioning and exposing an original. CONSTITUTION:A movable index 21 is moved along a slide guide slit 22 and set at the center position of the original O on original placing glass 1. The wire coupled with the movable index 21 also moves to rotate a potentiometer, generating the electric signal of the index position. The optical system scans on the left half part of the original O to copy it. Then, the optical system returns to the starting position and scans again to copy the remaining half part of the original O to another sheet. The optical system may move at a high speed until the left half part. An L R button 30 is used for copying from the right page of the original and a buttons 31 or 32 is for copying only the left or right page of the original. |
