PURPOSE:To correct the error of read information, by writing an error page, the number of left pages, and the command end in a register group. CONSTITUTION:A processor CPU inquires whether the command end is set or not for every read of one byte, and a host ED looks at contents of a register STR; and if the command end is set and no errors are detected, the correct read of all designated pages is completed. If the error is detected, the classification of the error is examined by a register ESR; and if the error is an ECC error, the host ED sets a read command to a register CMR and stops the read with the page where the error has been detected, and the host ED takes in data of this page and following pages. When a bit error is detected during the read of a bubble device BD, the read is interrupted, and the processor CPU reads the error page for the bubble device BD by the read command because the processor CPU sets the error page and the number of left pages to a register PAR and a register PCR respectively, and the CPU takes data of the error page into its own RAM and corrects data. Corrected data is stored in a register DioR. Hereafter, the normal processing is performed. |
