PURPOSE:To manufacture a door panel excellent in weatherproofness by a method wherein two molded bodies each of which is prepared by making monolithic a vinyl chloride film and a polyurethane foam body having the same pattern with a wood-carved door are superposed through the intermediary of a supporting base body. CONSTITUTION:A duplicate die 1 is prepared by using a wood-carved door as a master form. On the inner surface of this duplicate die 1, a vinyl chloride film 2 whereon the same pattern with the surface of the wood-carved door is printed is subjected to vacuum molding with the printed surface directed to the die 1 so that the undulation of the die 1 are matched with the pattern of the film 2. Next, a foamable polyurethane resin stock solution 3 is cast on the film 2 and, a supporting base body 4 being put thereon, it is foamed and set. Then, removal is made from the die, and a molded body A is obtained. Next, another film 2 is subjected to vacuum molding on the die 1 in the same way, another foamable polyurethane resin stock solution 3 is cast thereon, the molded substance A is mounted later thereon, the stock solution 3 is foamed and set, a monolithic body thus prepared is removed from the die, and thus a door panel 6 is obtained. |
