PURPOSE:To cast balustrade posts of various specifications with less casting molds and to reduce the cost of production by constituting said posts in such a way that the sectional shapes are all the same when said posts are divided at the horizontal plane. CONSTITUTION:A balustrade post is so constituted that when said post is divided to the parts (a), (c), (e) near the parts to be fitted with rails and the parts (b), (d) except said parts, the contours on the front surfaces of the intermediate parts (b), (d) are perpendicular, i.e., that all the A-A sections on the horizontal plane are the same. The post is also so formed that the parts (c) to be fitted with rails consist of two parts and the surface of the post consists of perpendicular parts (f), (f), (g). In casting, the prototypes are divided to the parts (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), (g) and the respective parts of the prototype are combined and used, whereby the balustrade posts of various specifications are cast. |
