<p>PURPOSE:To economize labour and increase the efficiency in reversing and superposing work by inserting a plate for protecting the both side-edges of a strip coil into between the wheel conveyors installed in parallel and opposed in the vertical direction in a reversal box which can be turned and turning over said reversal box. CONSTITUTION:A protecting plate 5 produced by a press machine is supplied onto a roller conveyor 7, with the flange 4 downward, and supplied between the upper and lower wheel conveyors 8 in an inclined reversal box 6. When the flange 4 contacts with a stopper 9, and the protecting plate 5 stops at a certain position, the reversal box 6 is raised along a guide bar 11 by the drive by a motor 14 through a chain 18 and a slider 12. Said reversal box 6 is turned-over by about 180 degrees, during said elevation, by the dead weight and by the operation of a revolving chain 20, and the insertion side of the conveyor 8 is directed towards a roller conveyor 24 at the rising limit, and the conveyor 8 stops. Then, the protecting plate 5 is slided with the flange 4 upward and transferred onto the conveyor 24.</p> |
