PURPOSE:To contrive to conserve energy in descaling the surface of a container or the like, by a method wherein a grit-blasting nozzle is liftably and oscillatably provided on a supporting column of a movable double column type frame body, in a grinding and cleaning machine used in a production step of a container for such as a heat exchanger or the like. CONSTITUTION:The work to be grit-blasted is placed along a predetermined passage between guide rails 1. To direct the grit-blasting nozzle 16 toward the work surface, rotary actuators 11, 15 are operated to oscillate a main arm 10 and an oscillating unit 14 by predetermined angles, and a winch 7 is operated to set a liftable body 5 at a predetermined height. Grits are blasted from the nozzle 16, and while vertically oscillating the nozzle 16 by a predetermined angle by rotating a hydraulic motor 22, the double column type frame body 2 is moved in the longitudinal direction of the work by driving trucks 3. Accordingly, the work surface is grit-blasted over the entire length thereof with a predetermined vertical width. |
