PURPOSE:To perform carrying and inspection smoothly by stopping the reel so that the tip of a coil always come to a desired zone position. CONSTITUTION:The gate of pulse counter of the first pulse generator 7 is opened when the tip of a wire rod arrives at a hot steel detector (HMD) for detecting the tip. When the set pulse coincides with count pulse, the coincidence output is interrupted into the second pulse counter of the second pulse generator. The number of pulses at the time of interruption is read, and corresponding angle of rotation to the Y-line of coordinate axis is operated from the number of pulses per rotation of the reel 4, and the ground rotation angle of the reference position is calculated. Then, the presence of the tip of the coil is judged. Thereafter when the number of pulses counted by the second pulse counter coincides with the number of pulses when reference position arrives at a stop position, the reel is braked and stopped. |
