PURPOSE:To automatically set the most suitable backup time by finding the necessary time to obtain the tube current amount to provide the preset and prescribed X-ray energy based on the values of set tube voltage, and tube current and the information on the thickness of a target. CONSTITUTION:The information on the thickness of a target 4 and the tube voltage information from the X-ray operation part 8 are given to the processor 9 of a computer through the I/O unit 11 in order to execute operation to find the tube current amount which is a product of the value of a tube current to be flown to an X-ray tube and a time required for photographing. And said information is given to the X-ray operation part 8 from the I/O unit 11 to set the maximum photographing hour in order to operate a high voltage generation unit 2 while generating the output until the maximum photograhing time becomes a zero. Further, the light corresponding to the X-ray strength is detected by a 1.16 feet timer 7 in order to have an X-ray cut-off signal generated when a film 5 reaches a proper blackening degree. Accordingly, a photograph of good quality can always be obtained automatically within an allowable load of the X-ray tube. |
