PURPOSE:To obtain an air suction port capable of drawing air uniformly over the entire area of the suction port, by positioning inlet ends of guide plates along a diagonal line of the opening of the suction port, and positioning outlet ends of the guide plates on a plane perpendicular to the guide plates. CONSTITUTION:Air introduced from an opening 5 collides onto guide plates 2 and then flows toward inlet ends 3 of the guide plates 2. Air reached the inlet ends 3 is drawn into passages formed between the guide plates 2 with an increased speed and carried into a suction duct 8 via outlet ends 4 of the guide plates 2. Thus, since air is drawn directly into the suction duct after collision onto the guide plates 2 and vortices or the like are not produced on the surfaces of the guide plates 2, air can be drawn into the suction port very smoothly. Therefore, the number of required guide plates can be made small. |
