PURPOSE:To perform the quick paint processing for a closed region with a graphic display device, by designating an optional point within the closed region which is displayed to the display device. CONSTITUTION:When a paint instruction 1 is delivered, the designated coordinates (a, b) are stacked in a stack area 5. The paint processing is carried out for each line from the line the coordinates (a, b). At the same time, the boundary is checked for the line adjacent to the line which receives the paint processing. Then the line start point information that should receive the paint processing is stacked in the area 5, and an internal flag is turned off. The start point information is successively extracted out of the area 5 every time the paint processing and stack processing are over for a line. The start point information is processed in the same way. Finally an all closed region is painted. |
