The purification process for MnO2 after washing MnO2 slimes occurring in zinc refining includes successive steps; (a) separating pb impurities by treating with a soln. of nitric acid and its salt; (b) separating Ag by treating at 80-90≦̸C for 5-7 hr with a soln. of hydrochloric acid and its salt; (c) completely oxidizing unseparated pb, Ag, and MnO2 by ozone-oxidizing; (d) dry-dissociating them at 200-300≦̸C
