PURPOSE:To prevent positional shifting when mounting repeatedly by fitting a spring in means for selecting the reaching position of an electron beam onto a phosphor face over a stud provided on a cathode ray tube body having a smooth surface of high hardness. CONSTITUTION:A pluraity of conical head-cut studs 2 formed with a smooth face composed of metal oxide, carbide, nitride, boride, etc. are provided on the inner face at the skirt section of a panel 1 formed with phosphor face on the inner face of a cathode ray tube body. A color selecting means 3 is held at specific positional relation by fitting a triangular through-hole 5 of a spring 4 provided on a frame of means 3 for selecting the arriving position of the electron beam onto the phosphor face. When mounting/dismounting said means 3 repeatedly in order to apply three color phosphor substance independently, color shift can be prevented. |
