<p>PURPOSE:To perform the document processing at a high speed, by displaying an input enable region on a display device in response to the number of characters to be fed into a row which is set by an operator, and setting automatically tabs at both ends of the input enable region. CONSTITUTION:As shown in the figure (A), a cursor CM is displayed at first at the head position CM1 at the upper left end on a document producing screen. Then the cursor advances by one step to the right with the next operation of keys on a keyboard KB. A tab setting key TABS is pushed after the cursor CM is shifted to a desired position. Thus a signal of ''1'' is written to the corresponding bit. The tab is once set with a specific character display device, and thereafter the cursor CM moves at a stroke to the nearest right tab position with a push of a tab key TABK. When this setting of tabs is released, the cursor CM is moved to a desired position and then a tab reset TABR is pushed.</p> |
