发明名称 CONNECTING JOINT FOR CARBURETOR IN INTERNAL-COMBUSTION ENGINE
摘要 PURPOSE:To secure a heat shield effect for a carburetor without using a special heat shield member in particular, by composing a connecting joint connecting a suction port with the carburetor of an internal-combustion engine in a way of installing a core member made of heat resistant synthetic resin solidly in a rubber-made body as one body. CONSTITUTION:A connecting joint 9 connects one end opening part 13 of a heat resistant rubber-made body 11 installed in a suction passage 12 inside to a carburetor, while a flange part 14 installed in the other end is connected to a suction port leading to a combustion chamber of an internal-combustion engine and is thus set up. Then, inside a peripheral wall 15 of the said body 11, situated at the suction port side, a heat resistant, synthetic resin-made core member 16 is solidly embedded. With this, heat from the internal-combustion engine is made hard to be transmitted to the core member 16, a method with which a temperature rise in the connecting joint 9 itself is prevented. Accordingly, a heat shield effect for the carburetor can be amply secured instead of using a special heat shield member in particular and a reduction in the number of parts items can be brought to fruition.
