<p>A process for the preparation of polyarylenes by the amine-catalysed elimination of carbonate groups from polymers which contain in the backbone thereof cyclohex-2-enylene rings bearing carbonate groups is disclosed. The products of the process are particularly useful as insulating materials.</p> |
