PURPOSE:To improve feeling of cooling by selecting the capacity of compressor automatically adaptable to the cooling load in accordance to the detected level of cabin temperature thereby suppressing hunting of cool supply air temperature. CONSTITUTION:The compressor 1 is provided with a variable capacity compressor 1 including variable capacity electric operating units 20, 21 of solenoid valve for opening the path between high pressure side refrigerant path and low pressure side refrigerant path upon conduction of power and driven by an engine 6 through a solenoid clutch 22. Furthermore a control unit 12 for receiving output signals from cabin temperature sensor 10, temperature sensor 11, and accelerator interlocked switch 8 as a load detector for detecting heavy load state of engine are provided. Normally said units 20, 21 are controlled in accordance to the outputs from said sensor 10 and temperature setter 11 to regulate delivery of compressor 1 while upon detection of heavy load, delivery of compressor is controlled forcefully to low level. |
