PURPOSE:To record different modes and to restart easily recording of an intermitted mode by stopping a picture recording inputted from an external apparatus, and thereafter, executing a picture recording which follows scanning of an original. CONSTITUTION:In an analog copying (copying which uses irradiation of an original), digital copying (copying by an output of a multi-stylus from an external apparatus) from an external apparatus 14-10 is inhibited, and a signal BUSY is outputted to the external apparatus 14-10. In case of analog copying is interrupted in digital copying, if its interruption is erroneous or the interruption is not required, it can be reset to digital copying before halting only within a prescribed time. In an overlay mode, when analog copying is selected in the course of synthesized copying, an output of only digital copying is inhibited only during that time, and only analog copying is executed. |
