Hydraulic brake control for trailer

The brake control system has a fluid flow control valve which feeds a pressure reservoir via a non return valve and which provides a trailer brake pressure in relation to the towing unit brake pressure. A second brake control is obtained via a control lever (125) which operates directly on the control valve via an eccentric cam. The brake lever provides a parking brake control for the trailer, independent of the towing unit brake pressure. This allows simple security for the trailer when uncoupled.
