PURPOSE:To reduce the stray capacitance and thereby to improve the signal-to- noise ratio (S/N) of the amplifier, by providing a low-pass filter formed of a resistor and a capacitor and by arranging a DC voltage to be applied to inside the deflection coil without passing through a lead wire. CONSTITUTION:The mesh electrode 7 is grounded through a capacitor 16 in order that any noise present on the mesh electrode 7 is prevented from mixing in the signal current through the stray capacitance between 7 and 8. The mesh electrode 7 is structured so that the stray capacitance between the same and the convergence electrode 5 will be reduced as much as possible, and the same is provided with an electrode 20 so that a high voltage can be applied thereto from the outside near the front surface of the camera tube. To this electrode 20, a high voltage is applied from the terminal 18 through the resistor 17. The resistor 17 is placed as close to the camera tube as possible to avoid effects of noise and inductance. |
