PURPOSE:To eliminate the variation in reproduction output level by providing a means which orients ferromagnetic particulates concentrically and magnetically to a roller which conveys a supporting body at the prestage wherein a coating layer made by applying a material to a beltlike nonmagnetic supporting body lengthwise is dried and caked. CONSTITUTION:The flexible base is passed through a feeding-out part 1, coating part 2, and drying part 3 and taken up around a take-up part 4. A plane type permanent magnet is provided on the surface of a conveyance roller A equipped with the concentric orienting means and the permanent magnet rotates at the same speed as the conveyance speed of the supporting body during manufacture while the surface contacts the surface of the supporting body. This method makes the relative positions of the permanent magnet surface 5 and coating layer constant and also makes the distance between the both constant, realizing stable concentric orientation. |
