A Venetian blind has a U-shaped mounting bracket (10) with a through hole for the stepped band (13) cords (14) and manoeuvring tools (19, 23) for the blind slats (11). The blind includes a manoeuvring axel (15) and bushings (17), downward-bearing tool (18) and a tilt gear (19) for this as well as a line lock (23) for the blind cords (14). The line lock is designed to be snapped into the mounting bracket (10) without special mounting tools for mounting the component. According to the invention, the mounting holes on the line lock are broadened on both sides of the mounting bolt's corner between the U-body (25) and one leg (26), in addition to which the line lock has a snapping device, which after mounting of the line lock from the inside of the U-bracket it presses against the edges of the mounting holes in order to keep the line lock in place.<IMAGE> |
