PURPOSE:To realize silent valve operation and permit to lengthen the duration of the injection valve by a method wherein a squash area, reducing the seating speed of a needle valve, is provided between the main body of a nozzle and the valve body of the needle valve. CONSTITUTION:The end part of spindle side 10 of the needle valve body 6 is formed with a flange 22 and the upper part of the main body 4 of the nozzle is formed with a recessed annular squish area 24, receiving the flange part 22, while the squish area 24 is filled with oil. Accordingly, when the needle valve body 6 seats on the valve seat 18 of the nozzle main body 4, a pressing surface 26 at the lower surface of the flange part 22 acts so as to discharge the oil in the squash area 24 and the seating speed of the needle valve 6 is reduced by the energy due to the discharge of the oil in case the valve body seats on the valve seat 18. According to this method, the silent seating operation without generating seating sound may be obtained and the life of the injection valve may be elongated by preventing the abrasion thereof. |
